Research Network Interdisciplinary Research on Human Values

Logo Forschungsverbund Interdisziplinäre Werteforschung

The Research Network Interdisciplinary Research on Human Values is a joint initiative created by the faculties of Catholic Theology, Philosophy and Education, Law, and Social Sciences along with the Rectorate of the University of Vienna. It was set up by the Rectorate on 1 July 2017.

The research network seeks to both provide a structural basis for value research at the University of Vienna and foster interdisciplinary cooperation between faculties in this particular research field. In addition, it aims to promote the further development of academic discourse on values while taking different academic disciplines into account and, in so doing, contribute to making the debate on values more objective.
