Teaching
The Faculty of Social Sciences offers a wide range of study programmes in the following fields: Demography, Gender Studies, Development Studies, Social and Cultural Anthropology, Nursing Science, Political Science, Communication, Sociology and Science and Technology Studies. About 11,700 students are enrolled at the faculty in the winter semester 2023/24. Students have the opportunity to pursue a Bachelor, a Master or a Doctorate degree. In addition, the faculty is involved in various programs of the Postgraduate Center of the University of Vienna.
