IN:EX Politics of Inclusion and Exclusion

The research group The Politics of Inclusion & Exclusion (IN:EX) was created in 2008 with the aim of studying issues related to the governance of diversity in the fields of migration/integration, religious governance, participatory democracy, anti-discrimination, and gender politics at the European, national and local level. IN:EX is located in the Department of Political Science at the University of Vienna. It builds upon existing expertise present at the department and is situated within the broader context of migration, citizenship and belonging, which is one of the main research focuses of the Faculty of Social Sciences.
